Dora Landscaping Company began its operations in 1976 in
Orlando, Florida. We are locally owned and operated and strive to make our community
a better place to live. Each year we have prudently expanded, striving for excellence
and providing only the highest quality service and workmanship at a reasonable cost.
We operate three (3) full service divisions; Landscape Construction, Irrigation construction & Professional Grounds
Maintenance. In addition, Dora Landscaping Company also operates an on-site 30-acre
nursery, Southern Landscape Growers.
Landscape Construction is our largest Division. Highly qualified and trained Superintendents manage each project. Dora has
a Florida Certified Landscape Contractor on staff and our Operations Managers have over 75 years combined experience
managing landscape installation in Florida. With a fleet of trucks and equipment,
and a full staff of Landscape Installers, we are able to tackle any job regardless of size.
We pride ourselves in bringing in projects within budget, and on schedule.
Our Professional Grounds Maintenance Division provides
comprehensive grounds management services. Basic ground management, integrated
pest management (IPM), fertilization, arbor care, and floriculture are all services we capably provide. We retain Certified Pest Control Operators (CPO) who are licensed by the State of Florida to apply pest
control products. We also have a licensed Arborist on staff.
The Irrigation Division provides ‘build to suit’
and ‘design build’ irrigation systems to meet any Customer’s needs.
We have seen significant growth in this division over the last year. We
are certified with the State of Florida to pull permits. We also have multiple
Irrigation Superintendents who are trained and certified by Rainbird to install, maintain, and manage Maxi-Com Irrigation
Systems.
Our wholesale nursery, as previously mentioned, Southern
Landscape Growers occupies a large portion of our (30+) acre facility in Orlando. Specializing
in woody ornamentals and container grown trees, we are able to ‘grow out’ various materials for projects in the
near future. This allows us to meet and exceed the expectations of the landscape
designer. In addition to retail operations, we provide premium materials on retrofit
grounds maintenance projects.
